We propose to obtain high resolution images with Gemini+NIRI of close M dwarf binary systems. The systems are targets of a long term project with the Hubble Space Telescope to determine precise stellar masses at the bottom of the main sequence. We will use the obtained NIRI images to measure the binary components' J, H, and K magnitudes and further populate the empirical nIR empirical Mass-Luminosity Relationships for M dwarfs. The data will also provide an additional epoch of astrometry to benefit the mass measurements.
