The results for 5 colors U, B, V, R, I photometry of 90 stars belonging to Gliese's Catalog of Nearby Stars or to its supplements and not having a complete set of photometric data are presented. The observational program was undertaken to enlarge the photometric data necessary for the HIPPARCOS mission through a list of stars which by their special interest should be included in the HIPPARCOS observing list.
