We wished to verify the results of Palimaka et al. that double-lobed radio sources, particularly those larger than 250 kpc, tend to be aligned with the optical minor axis of the parent elliptical galaxy. We include in our sample several southern sources not previously studied. Unlike several previous works, we use an interactive computer method to determine optical alignment. We find good correlation between axis orientations derived by our method and those derived using a protractor eyepiece. However, the present study finds no evidence for a preferred radio ejection direction.
