Scientific paper

The paper presents a comparison of variations of the rotational temperature of OH emission and wind near the mesopause with surface wind in the Scandinavian mountain region. It is shown that the winds that arise on the Scandinavian coast of the Atlantic have an effect on the amplitude and phase of semidiurnal oscillations of the atmosphere both at its surface and at mesopause heights. The effect of ocean tides on tidal oscillations in the atmosphere is hypothesized.
