The structure and dynamics of the terrestrial, Cytherean, Martian, and Jovian atmospheres are analyzed. Analysis of one- and three-dimensional models shows that the thermal structure of the Martian and Jovian atmospheres is similar to that of the earth atmosphere. The three-dimensional model is used to investigate the relation between flow and temperature fields as well as eigenfunction characteristics for various planetary atmospheres.
