Quiet time daily variations at Eusebio for the high solar activity period of 1978 to 79 were previously studied. Results are presented for quiet time daily variations (Sq) in the H-field at Eusebio and are compared with the similar variations observed at Cachoeira Paulista for the period of low solar activity in the year 1986. Eusebio is situated in the region of Equatorial Electrojet and Cachoeira Paulista is a low latitude station situated in the region of South Atlantic Magnetic Anomaly.
