The inaccuracy by Karlson (1962, 1963) in the derivation of the equation for the electric field and due to equating the plasma density with the guiding centre's density is corrected in the frame- work of microscopic description. Moreover, the corrected equation of Karison is derived in two different ways in the continuous medium approach: (1) with the use of the generalized Ohm law; (2) with the use of the two-liquid magnetohydrodynamic equations
