χ^2 atmospheric analysis on the spectra of five eclipsing binaries
obtained at quadratures is compared with results from orbital solutions
obtained in a GAIA-like fashion. The analyzed Asiago spectra cover the
8450-8750 Å range common to the GAIA and RAVE spectroscopic
surveys. Excellent agreement for parameters in common is found.
