Concentrations of O, O2, and N2, and atmospheric density as determined
from rocket measurements of solar UV radiation intensity from 1965 to
1978 are compared with results of neutral-atmosphere models. Divergences
between experimental and theoretical results are strongest for periods
of high solar activity.
