The STEREO mission allows detailed comparisons of white-light (SECCHI experiment) and in-situ observations (by ACE, WIND or STEREO) of Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs). We will review the recent results of such comparisons. They confirm that the location, orientation and topology of the magnetic field inside CMEs dictate largely their aspect in white-light images. The standard solar indices such as the sunspot number and the flare indices suggest that there is remarkably little solar activity during the current solar minimum. However the frequent eruption of CMEs never ceased during the last two years; in particular several formations of Merged Interaction Regions (MIRs) have been observed in SECCHI images and in in-situ observations of the solar wind. Two or three CMEs frequently erupt successively and interact before they reach 1 AU. This constant CME activity, albeit largely reduced compared to solar maximum years, manifests itself in white-light images and in-situ as the entrainment of CMEs by fast solar wind streams. These observations provide new insights into the variability of the slow solar wind and solar minimum type activity.
