Measurements on two American, one Swedish and one Danish standard for carbon isotopes are reported. These measurements are intended to provide a direct comparison between American and Scandinavian measurements on carbon isotopes. CO 2 samples are used in the mass-spectrometry and it is shown that differences in O 17 -abundance may cause measurable errors.
