Results of experimental dual-hybrid-mode feeds are described. The hybrid modes are generated at a corrugated step discontinuity. The electrical length of the feeds is substantially reduced compared with feeds developed earlier. The feeds yield high signal/noise ratios and show low crosspolar radiation. They are suitable for radio-astronomical applications and radio-relay links.
