The Infrared Multi-Object Spectrometer (IRMOS) is completing its commissioning phase at Kitt Peak National Observatory. IRMOS provides spectral resolutions of 300, 1000, and 3000 in JHK (and 1000 in Z) over a 3 x 2 arc minute field on the KPNO 4 meter telescope. The novel aspect of IRMOS is the computer operated slit mask consisting of an 848 x 600 element array of individually addressable bi-state mirrors developed by Texas Instruments. This design permits rapid target acquisition and tailoring of slits to individual targets. We report on the performance of IRMOS, show some representative datasets, and describe the software systems that control the slit mask. IRMOS was developed by an STScI, NASA/GSFC, and KPNO team. It will be available at Kitt Peak starting in Spring 2006.
