The degree of deuterium astration by stars in the course of Galactic evolution is calculated. In the framework of generally accepted models of the chemical evolution of the Galaxy, it is shown that the decrease in deuterium abundance as compared with its pregalactic value is insignificant; i.e., is characterized by a factor of 3-5. It is only in this case that an excess production of He-3 does not arise in the course of Galactic evolution.
