Since the activity of water varies only slightly in studies of
equilibria in aqueous solutions, the studies give no proof of complexes
including H 2 O (e.g., ZnOHSH and ZnOH(SH) 2 - ). Data on sphalerite
given by Gübeli and Ste-Marie (1967) as well as by Hayashi et al.
(1990) are reconsidered.
