Scientific paper
A complete list of the comet observations carried out in 1976 is
presented. Brief descriptions of the observations are given, and some
recently computed orbital elements are tabulated. The total number of
comets under observation in 1976 was 29, with five new comets
discovered, and six short-period comets recovered.
