H Ii Regions
Scientific paper
We present velocity structures in the ionized and molecular gas of four cometary compact H II regions. Velocity gradients in the tails of the cometary structures support a champagne flow and are inconsistent with a bow-shock interpretation. Significant velocity structure at the head requires additional dynamical components, which may well arise from the influence of stellar winds.
