We report on unique postperihelion (2.3 AU) measurements of Comet Hale-Bopp occurred in the FUV range (800-1250 A) by means of the UVSTAR spectrometer from the Space Shuttle during 1997, August 1-18. The projected slit dimension was (0.2x1.9)x106 km2 at the comet distance and the spectral resolution was 16 A. The net spectrum shows possible atomic (HI, OI, CI , NI), ionic (OII, CII, NII) and molecular features, among them the new detection of N2 at 1004, 1009, 1046, 1058 and 1110 A. Evidence of Argon at 1048 A can't be confirmed because of the low resolution and the contamination by N2.
