We tackle the question of how to optimally use the higher angular resolution of Chandra and the larger aperture area of XMM-Newton to compute a better image of an Xray source. We study generic methods of combining data from observations made with instruments of different response functions, and apply them to Chandra and XMM. Some of these methods are borrowed from the field of CMB map-making. We compare our methods to traditional methods of PSF deconvolution.
