A model of radiation scattering by a spherical gas cloud is used to calculate the resonance scattering of solar radiation at different wavelengths in the UV and visible regions by a neutral barium cloud depending on the cloud optical thickness tau and the angle of observation alpha. The spectral dependence of the resonance scattering is shown to lead to complex cloud colors; their distribution, dynamics, and intensity are determined by changes in tau. On the other hand, the cloud coloring in the pictorial plane depends on alpha.
