The paper reviews different forms of the collision integral used to
describe the effects of irregular forces in stellar systems. Boltzmann
and Landau forms of the collision integral obtained in the continuous
random process scheme are given. This is followed by an examination of
the Fokker-Planck equation, its coefficients and solution.
