We present narrow-band images and high resolution long-slit spectra of
the evolved planetary nebulae (PNe) Sh 2-71 and NGC 6765 that allow us
to deduce their basic structures and information on the processes
involved in their formation. The data suggest the influence of
collimated fast winds or collimated outflows in the shaping of both PNe.
