A model of a collapsing radiating star, consisting of a shear-free isotropic fluid undergoing radial heat flow accompanied by outgoing unpolarized radiation, is described. Physical conditions inside the star are examined, and the thermodynamical relations are studied in detail. Relationship between pressure and energy density in the model was analyzed based on data for a supernova model.
