A model for generation of non-linear spatial structures in a rigidly rotating star-forming disk is proposed. The model takes into consideration non-local propagating star formation, infall of gas and the formation of molecular clouds from the gas component. The linear stability of the disk is determined by the rate of accretion so that the disk is unstable in its central parts. Numerical simulations demonstrate the development of coherent spiral waves of enhanced stellar density in the inner parts of the disk.
