The direct influence of the motion of the surface of a rotating star on the spatial coherence of its electromagnetic radiation is investigated. Observations in spectral lines with modern interferometers make it possible to determine the parameters of the rotating stars, including the radial component of the equatorial velocity and the orientation of the projection of the axis of rotation on the plane perpendicular to the line of sight.
