We report the results of a comparative study of the COsmic Background Explorer/Diffuse InfraRed Background Experiment (COBE/DIRBE) photometric calibration on approximately 100 stellar and non-stellar objects across a wide range of the DIRBE instrument dynamic range and wavelength coverage. A statistical comparison of the DIRBE-generated flux to the accepted values from the literature provide an independent verification of the DIRBE point source calibrations. NASA/GSFC is responsible for the design, development, and operation of the COBE satellite. Scientific guidance is provided by the COBE Science Working Group. The COBE program is supported by the NASA Office of Space Science Astrophysics Division. COBE data products may be obtained from the NSSDC.
