The central area of L1642 has been mapped in the J = 1-0 transition of 12CO and 13CO using the 11-m NRAO and 14-m FCRAO radio telescopes. Weak red- and blueshifted bipolar pedestal 12CO line emission has been detected in the direction of IRAS 04325-1419. The estimated dynamical time scale of the outflow is about 4×104yr.
