We have compiled a sample of low redshift (z<0.2) Lyman Alpha absorbers drawn from the available HST (FOS and GHRS) archival data. This dataset dramatically increases the statistics available for absorbers of moderate column density and is complimentary to work being carried out with high resolution, narrow path length spectra which are sensitive to lower column densities. A primary goal of this study is to investigate the degree of absorber-absorber clustering. Probing absorption in the nearby universe allows for direct comparison with existing galaxy surveys, providing insight into the relationship between Lyman Alpha absorbers and galaxies. Also, comparisons can be made with samples of absorbers constructed from low redshift cosmological hydrodynamic simulations.
