Mass spectra of Comet Halley dust particles obtained with the PUMA-2
instrument on the Vega probe are analyzed. Three groups of particles
were distinguished: (1) organic particles, (2) quasi-chondritic
particles, and (3) metal oxides. Typical spectra of particles in these
groups are presented.
