Active galactic nuclei (AGNs) obscured by a large amount of dust are an important class of objects to understand evolution of supper massive black holes. Observations in the infrared and X-ray bands are fundamental tools to study obscured AGNs. The infrared astronomical satellite AKARI performed an all-sky survey and about 1.3 million sources are listed in the All-Sky Survey Catalogue. On the other hand, a large catalogue of serendipitous X-ray sources has been made by using XMM-Newton data. We study efficient criteria to search for obscured AGNs using both the AKARI All-Sky Survey Catalogue and the XMM-Newton Serendipitous Source Catalogue. We compared fluxes at 18 micron (F_18) and 90 micron (F_90), count rates in 0.2-12 keV (C_x), hardness ratios (HR) of objects listed in both of the catalogues and located at |b|=>10~deg. Optical classifications of activity of these sources are also collected from the literature. We found that Seyferts and HII galaxies are located in distinct regions in diagrams such as HR vs C_x/F_18 and HR vs C_x/F_90. The advantage of these diagrams is that only IR fluxes and X-ray count rates are used and that detailed spectral analysis is not required. In addition, four obscured AGN candidates, for which nuclear activity has never been recognized in the past, are found for the first time by using our new diagrams. We will present details of our diagrams and results of X-ray spectral analyses of the newly found obscured AGNs.
