A numerical calculation of the electric-field potential equation is used to investigate the global structure of the dynamo field for quiet conditions. Calculated components of the electrical drift of charged particles for the F-region are correlated with incoherent-scatter data. This makes it possible to determine the role of the amplitude and phase characteristics of the thermospheric modes of neutrals, as well as the contribution of an elevated corpuscular conductivity zone at subauroral latitudes to the formation of the dynamo field at middle and low latitudes in the course of a day.
