The density class distribution of bright meteors is examined. The distributions of the penetration parameters of Prairie Network meteors and photographically observed Perseids, which are calculated taking into account the dependence of the emission effectiveness coefficient on meteor mass and velocity, are illustrated by histograms which demonstrate the presence of two structural groups of Prairie Network meteorites, and a separate low-density class of bodies from the comet responsible for the Perseid shower. Analysis of the dependence of the end heights of Prairie Network meteors on their velocities reveals the presence of three groups of meteors: high speed meteors (velocity greater than 50 km/sec) which disappear at end heights greater than 65 km, and two groups of meteors with entry velocities less than 45 km/sec which differ in end heights. Examination of the dependence of meteor end heights on parent body initial masses for meteors of given entrance velocity also reveals the presence of two groups with similar masses for the same velocities. Results thus confirm the presence of two structural classes of Prairie Network bolides, and possibly a third class of high-speed cometary bodies.
