Low-resolution infrared spectra of BI Cru, He 3-1138 and He 3-1359 show that these peculiar emission line stars have a 2.3 μm emission feature which the authors attribute to CO. Other data on these systems are presented. BI Cru is shown to be a symbiotic system containing a Mira variable (280 day period) but there is no evidence that He 3-1138 or He 3-1359 are symbiotics.
