A careful analysis of the multi-year multi-frequency data of SS Cygni - collected within the framework of our programs and from literature - provides circumstantial proofs, which allow to conclude that such a cataclysmic variable is an intermediate polar, in spite that the final proof, namely the rotational period of the white dwarf, has not yet been definitively obtained.
