Planets form in accretion disks around young stars by accreting matter from the circum-stellar disk via a circum-planetary disk. I will present parameter estimates of the circum-planetary disk parameters and the protoplanet and compare them to the disk-star interaction paradigm in low-mass star formation. In particular I consider the feasibility of hypothetical planetary jets or outflows. Recent MHD simulations in the literature seem to proof these model estimates.
