Circular polarization measurements of Cyg X-1 were obtained on nine nights, using the photoelastic polarimeter and 31-inch telescope at Battelle Observatory. The wavelengths, filters, and half-power transmittances used are listed, and data are tabulated and graphed. Circular polarization was definitely detected in two filters. It is suggested that interstellar dust may be the source of the polarization, and that further polarimetric investigations are warranted.
