The properties of the olivine fragment no. 24182 are discussed. Results are presented on the mean silicate composition, the reflective capacity, and the X-ray characteristics of the fragment. Particular consideration is given to the chrome-magnetite and magnetite composition of the fragment; questions regarding the origin of the material under consideration are discussed.
