The Hg-Mn star HD 161698, which belongs to the open cluster IC 4665, has
been studied. It is found that the spectrum is rich in Mn lines, and Hg
II, Pt II, Ga II, Zr II, Sc II, Y II, Sr II, and P II are definitely
present. The spectrum is compared with other peculiar stars and with the
normal star Nu Cap.
