The equilibrium potential of fluffy dust grains in plasma environments
is modeled numerically for comet P/Halley. It is found that the dust
grain acquires its largest negative potential and probability of
disruption at about 50,000 km from the comet where the mass spectrum
measured by the spacecraft took a great change.
