The rate coefficients are presented for a number of charge transfer reactions of astrophysical importance involving two and three times ionized CNO and Ne interacting with H and He at thermal energies. Complete quantal calculations are reported which utilize potential curves and matrix elements calculated with large configuration-interaction wave functions in a close-coupled formulation of the scattering. The scattering equations are solved using a transformation to a diabatic basis. The radiative decays of the product ions are identified as possible spectral diagnostics. Astrophysical applications are discussed and the effect of charge transfer on abundance determinations of neon is briefly explored.
