The effect of the spatial asymmetry of an Alfven maser (modeling the magnetosphere) on the excitation of complex dynamic regimes of Pc1 geomagnetic pulsations is studied theoretically. The main type of oscillation is the antisymmetric mode corresponding to the formation of a single packet of Alfven waves. It is shown that the conditions for the excitation of this mode are practically independent of the features of the distribution function and the relationship of conjugate-ionosphere parameters.
