We have monitored the radial velocities of 1412 stars selected for high proper motion, over time spans ranging up to 20 years. We have derived orbital solutions for 167 single-lined binaries and 34 double-lined systems. The frequency and orbital characteristics of the binaries in the halo and thick disk of the Galaxy closely resemble those of the thin disk. We summarize the characteristics of these binaries, such as the distribution of periods and eccentricity. We thank the National Science Foundation for support at UNC and BGSU.
