The families of periodic orbits in a time-independent two-dimensional potential field symmetric with respect to both axes are studied. By numerical calculations characteristic curves of several families of periodic orbits are found when the ratio of the unperturbed frequencies is square root of (A/B) = 2/1. There are two groups of characteristic curves: (1) The basic characteristic and the characteristics which bifurcate from it (2) the characteristics which start from the boundary line and the axis x = 0.
