Scientific paper

The paper considers optimal planning of navigation measurements and establishes necessary and sufficient conditions of optimality for the important case when the eigenvalues of the weighting matrix of the predicted vector are linearly related. It is shown that the D-optimal plan is realized on a reference subset. Consideration is given to A, D, and E optimal plans for the worst possible combination of measurement-error correlation coefficients.
