We use Chandra and XMM data to study three luminous galaxy groups: NGC 1550 (1.37 keV), ESO3060170 (2.67 keV) and ESO5520200 (2.10 keV). The temperature profile of NGC 1550 shows a characteristic turn-over, at about 0.08 virial radius, similar to at least two other well-measured 1 keV groups. The shape of the decline beyond 0.08 virial radius is similar to that of Universal temperature profile. The scaled entropy profiles of 1 keV groups show more scattering than those of hotter systems, which implies that the pre-heating levels vary for different systems. The ESO3060170 group is found to be a new fossil group. Galaxy-size cool cores, unusual temperature and entropy profiles within the cooling radius and other observed properties of the ESO3060170 and ESO5520200 groups are also discussed, along with their implications. We acknowledge support from NASA contracts NAS8-38248 and NAS8-39073.
