We have used the Chandra and XMM-Newton X-ray observatories to observe the galaxy cluster 3C 129 that harbors the prototypical head-tail radio galaxy 3C 129. In this contribution we combine the X-ray data with archival VLA radio data to study the interaction of the Intra-Cluster Medium (ICM) and the 15 arcmin long tail of the radio galaxy. The Chandra and XMM-Newton data allow us to perform a sensitive search for ICM cavities associated with the radio tail. Furthermore, we study the correlation of the diameter and minimum pressure of the radio tail with the ICM pressure and temperature. Finally, we use the combined X-ray and radio data to search for evidence of ICM bulk motion.
