We present results of our Chandra/HST/ChaMPlane survey of low-extinction regions in the Galactic Bulge. We focus on a group of X-ray sources whose candidate optical counterparts have properties typical for Bulge M-giants. We suggest these sources are candidate symbiotic binaries. The sources typically have hard X-ray spectra (median energy ˜2.5 keV or higher) and some appear to be highly absorbed; in these low-extinction regions the high nH must be intrinsic to the source. We present optical and near-infrared spectra, and light curves from public archives. Since the nH and X-ray luminosities are directly observed or constrained by the Chandra data, these sources can serve to test models of wind accretion and to study the mass loss and winds of late-type giants.
