Periodicities in three series of ground-based observations of Comet Halley are investigated. One series consists of brightness measurements during January-February 1984; the other two series are residuals of (O-C) observations of the right ascension and declination of the comet from September 1985 to February 1986. Harmonic analysis has revealed the periodic components of these series. In the first series, a component with a period of 2.36 + or - 0.084 d has been detected which is explained by the self-rotation of the comet nucleus. Components with periods of 10.0 + or - 2.3 d and 9.1 + or - 2 d, respectively, were found for sections of the second and third series from December 12, 1985 to January 18, 1986.
