A new astronomical application of the classical problem of two fixed centers is proposed which consists in calculating close encounters of stars with the nuclei of spherical star clusters, with allowance for star attraction to the nucleus of the Galaxy. The incomplete-integral method is used to obtain a local solution to the classical problem describing motion of a parabolic type; inversion of quadratures in elliptic Jacobi functions is used to obtain analytical expressions for representing star motion.
