The clusters were observed on 13 and 14 December 2001, with the 1.02m telescope at the Vainu-Bappu Observatory of Indian Institute of Astrophysics at Kavalur. Standard UBVRI filters along with 1k CCD were used at the Cassegrain focus of the telescope, the image scale being 0.315arcsec/pixel. The well-known open cluster M67 (NGC 2682) was also observed on each of the above-mentioned dates for the calibration of the instrument.
